| There might be minor differences in quality, but comparing screenshots full-size, I'm surprised how little difference there is between the AVC and VC1 versions. I mean, I understood that VC1 usually wouldn't be as sharp as AVC, but I barely see a difference in that, or the quality. All I can tell is that there's a slight difference in color, with the VC1-version being a tiny bit greener. But I was worried the VC1-version by Warner wouldn't be as good as the Paramount AVC-version. At least, is the German release the same disc/transfer as the Biritsh release? I know that they're both single-disc and also VC1, ánd by Warner, but are they absolutely the same? Anyway, I'm quite satisfied with the UK-release, but I kind of wish they'd have left it AVC and the Lossless audio as well. But it sounds surprisingly good and maybe a bonus is that you get all extra content on the same disc, which is just less of a hassle. |

| I know that bit-rate isn't everything, but the US disc probably has the edge when it comes to the English soundtrack. |

| there are differences, but I can't say if any one is better than the other. tiny pixels move around funnily when I move the mouse but that's it. das ist schon hart, hier unterschiede feststellen zu wollen... |
