| What's really odd is that ONLY the US BD version exhibits this color scheme. Even Lionsgate's US DVD exhibits the color scheme seen on the UK BD and all other
releases. Trivia: There actually two versions of the US BD: The original was encoded with AVC, then at some point it was silently replaced by the MPEG-2 version. No way to tell by the packaging. Also, the Australian BD looks even (slightly) better than the UK BD and is the best overall version available |

| @UFAlien Exactly. Honestly, I'd take the UK DVD in the other comparison (http://www.caps-a-holic.com/hd_vergleiche/comparison.php?cID=698#auswahl) over the US BD. Obviously, there's less detail, given it's SD...but it still looks more like the film is supposed to look. And if the DNR on the US BD is going to obliterate fine detail, anyway, one might as well just watch in SD and at least get the right color grading. |

| Weird... aside from some DNR, it also looks like the US BD is missing a lot of post-production color correction/manipulation. It looks like what I'd imagine the set did while shooting. The UK version has a much more cinematic, gritty, terrifying aesthetic. |

| UK > US Bei der US-BD hat man anscheinend die Farbfilter vergessen, die vom Regisseur afair so gewollt waren. Ähnlicher Fall wie die alte Pakt der Wölfe DVD bei uns, da fehlte die Farbfilter auch. Die australische BD hat die Farbfilter auch an Board. Weiß jemand, wie es bei der deutschen ausschaut? |
