| NoNick - I know what you mean but honestly, in this case, even with the lack of BD50 on the AT release I'd take it over the Arrow (and this comes from someone who owns the Arrow release)...granted I own the "regular" Arrow release, not the "deluxe edition"...so the sting isn't so bad |

| Ich bin froh, das ich auf eine deutschsprachige Veröffentlichung gewartet habe. Die Ultimate-Box aus AT ist einfach genial geworden. Es wurde sich viel Mühe gemacht um z.B. die fehlenden Passagen in der Special Edition (Erweiterte Fassung) stimmig mit den Originalsprechern nachzusynchronisieren. Zudem ist auch noch die 10th-Anniversary 3D-Version enthalten. Was allerdings etwas schade ist, die zusätzlichen Szenen der SE sind z.T. leicht auszumachen, da hier ein leichter schwarzer Rand um das Bild vorliegt. Zudem gibt es einige Kameraeinstellungen (wie z.B. gut zu sehen an Bild #1) die einen starken Rotstich haben. Ob das so gewollt war oder lediglich kein besseres Ausgangsmaterial verfügbar war? Zudem gibt es noch eine Menge Analoger Defekte im Bild zu sehen. Schade, das diese nicht behutsam herausgefiltert wurden. |

| Ok, I remember a little more now. The three frame types apply only to the .H264 codec (AVC), and they are I, P, and B. I THINK "I"-frames are the most detailed, but I'm not certain. |

| ...Then again, the difference is not consistent. See # 4 for example - the Arrow exhibits equal or even slightly better grain there. Makes me wonder if some of these grabs are from a different frame type on each disc. I know that there are typically three 'types' of frames in BD encodings (A, B, and I...or I may have those wrong) and they vary in terms of the amount of detail they convey. Anyone here know what I'm referring to. I read about it over at AVS forum. |

| In spite of the bitrates, I find the AT image slightly superior, with better grain. Arrow have employed their usual filtering. |
