| On a real note, I was totally going only by what I've read. Though in fairness, much has been made of the pitch issue on the Nordic release yet as far as I've seen no one had cited the UK special edition as having the same issue - thus I reasonably assumed the issue didn't plague the UK disc on account I would have seen someone bring it up (prior to you). Thanks for the info. Although honestly, having owned many PAL discs with uncorrected audio + a few blu-rays with pitch issues I didn't learn about until after the fact and having never noticed anything myself, I feel pretty certain it's not something that would affect my experience. I recently sol my US disc and still plan to scoop up the UK, all things considered. The ideal scenario would be the muxing route the administrator went, though I'm not currently equipped for such. |

| @@Paku I'm betting you don't have either editions and are just repeating info you've read? I own the UK special edition. All you have to do is switch between the 5.1 and 2.0 tracks to realise something isn't right. Comparing to the soundtrack CD it's easy to confirm it's the 2.0 track that is correct and the 5.1 track has pitch issues. I'm guessing it was slowed down from a pitch-corrected PAL master. Administrator:
I just compared the US TrueHD 7.1, UK LPCM 2.0 and UK DTD-HD 5.1 and you are absolutely correct. But I think it would only bother me, if I really knew the actors and their voices very well.
Nevertheless I muxed the 7.1 US track with the UK video :) |

| Here's how it breaks down: US - best audio of the English-friendly releases (7.1; 24-bit) UK - best video of the English-friendly releases (less DNR) Nordic - best video but NOT English-friendly (even less DNR than UK) |

| NO. That's the Nordic release you're thinking of. UK audio is fine. Good god, everyone in this thread is wrong about everything... LULZ |

| Be aware that the 5.1 DTS-HD MA track on the UK Blu-ray suffers from pitch issues. The 2.0 LPCM track is fine though. |

| Why should an English dub matter? It's a Spanish language film, presented in its native language as it should be. Suck it up and read the subtitles |
