| The BD looks virtually perfect. The softness is inherent to the cinematography. Dickerson used a TON of diffusion on Malcolm X. The colors and contrast are a notable improvement, and this transfer looks beautiful in motion. A touch of shimmer here and there, but it's fleeting and unintrusive. A very, very nice upgrade. |

| Warner muss man zu Gute halten, dass sie bei vielen Katalogtiteln neue Transfere erstellen, im Gegensatz z.B. Universal. Allerdings sehen diese alle recht ähnlich
aus, gleiche Farben, Kontraste, sehr softer Look. Allerdings hat Warner ne andere Macke, pro Medium bleiben sie meist bei einem Transfer und so sehen auch viele DVDs, vorallem aus den ersten Jahren, sehr grottig aus. Bei Universal wurden schon im DVD-Zeitalter viele Neuauflagen erstellt, sodass deren DVDs idR besser aussahen, allerdings dürfen die auch für ihre BD-Veröffentlichungen herhalten. Unbefriedigend ist leider beides. |

| Hmmm... Kontrast erhöht? Reingezoomt,Schwarzwerte verschlucken Details... Viel schärfer ist nicht geworden. Muss man nicht unbedingt kaufen. |
