Conclusion
Bild:
Das Bild des britischen Director's Cuts ist klar schärfer und teilweise auch unterschiedlich gezoomt. Da es sich eben um den DC handelt, kann man davon ausgehen, daß die gezoomten Szenen so korrekt sind.

Ton:
Hier bietet die britische DVD einen neuen digitalen Surround-Mix, der sehr räumlich klingt und Spaß macht. Die deutsche DVD bietet nur den alten Monoton.

Extras:
Die deutsche DVD bietet gerade mal einen Trailer, die britische dazu einige interessante Featurettes und eine kurze Einführung des Regisseurs.

Fazit:
Allein schon die Tatsache, daß die britische DVD den Director's Cut enthält, sollte ausschlaggebend für eine Entscheidung diesbezüglich sein. Außerdem bietet sie das bessere Bild und den weit besseren Ton.

Die deutsche ist mal wieder voll billig gemacht und ohne Extras.

Toller Vergleich. Wollte erst noch die US Version kaufen, aber werd wohl bei der UK DC bleiben.

Ja, der Film ist auch nicht schlecht hat allerdings die dümmste Story seit langem.
